Green Bay picked Raji and Matthews. Those were two great picks. I would have loved to have Crabtree on offense but we probably needed Raji at nose tackle more than we needed Crabtree at receiver.
Why did the chicken cross the road?
So that its subjects will view it with admiration, as a chicken which has the daring and courage to boldly cross the road,
but also with fear, for whom among them has the strength to contend with such a paragon of avian virtue? In such a manner is the princely
chicken's dominion maintained. ~Machiavelli

Detroit pins their hopes on a 21-year old Texan for QB. $72 million.
Yikes.
Be well. Do good. Keep in touch.
Eagles traded up and drafted two skill players (Maclin/WR, McCoy/RB) instead of linemen or defensive players. I'm not quite sure how to react.![]()

KNOWSHON MORENO ON THE BRONCOS BABY!!!
Though I was very disappointed at first, we really needed some more defense.. I thought why not Brian Cushing or Brian Orakpo at the 12th pick.
I knew the Broncos would probably not get Mark Sanchez, but I was definitely surprised when the Jets got him. I was sure the Seahawks would choose Sanzhez... I really wanted the Broncos to get Aaron Curry. No homo, but I was salivating over that man, he's probably better than Ray Lewis... in athleticism at least.
What the Broncos could have done was get Brian Cushing in round 12, and possibly Knowshown Moreno in 18. Cushing is definitely better than Robert Ayers.
However, I am now finally satisfied with the Broncos offense. With the release of Jay Cutler, I wasn't too sure with Kyle Orton in the backfield. Now, with a great running-back, I can finally stop crying about the old (awesome) Broncos offense, and find confidence in the new.
IMO I think the Eagles really needed a "go-to" receiver like Randy Moss, or T.J. Houshmandzadeh. (which they should have payed top dollar for)Originally Posted by GH
I don't think Desean Jackson or Kevin Curtis cuts it. I don't know much about their offensive line needs.
Defensively, Eagles looked set with the exception of Brain Dawkins going to the Broncos.

The funny thing about that- I had Mel Kiper's draft book while watching it, and I was like "who the HECK is this guy?". Lo and behold, I skim through the entire list, and found him ranked as the 73rd best safety in the draft. 8 minutes later, Berman and co. were doing the same on national television.
GH- I got to watch Maclin a lot- you got a steal with him at that late in the first round. I'm not sure about that back you chose, but Maclin should enable Andy's dream of a 75/25 pass/run ratio.
I'm pretty happy with the Colt's. Two running backs seems about what a team needs nowadays, and I think Moala will be a big improvement for our middle d-line.

Thank God the Raiders just pulled that bonehead move. I couldn't live with Crabtree in Oakland, SF is much better.
I'm also happy Darcel McCbath went so early! Now we wait for Harrell.
Am I the only one not sold on Snachez? The Jets could've had Freeman from K-state (much better upside IMO) and kept there #2 and all those utility guys. Not a good move.
There, but for the grace of God, goes John Bradford
My aim, then, was to whip the rebels, to humble their pride, to follow them to their inmost recesses, and make them fear and dread us. Fear is the beginning of wisdom.
I am tired and sick of war. Its glory is all moonshine. It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, for vengeance, for desolation.
Sanchez reminds me of the prototypical "workout warrior" that impresses everybody at the combine and then is a total nonentity when it comes down to actual gametime. The Jets fell for one early last year in Vernon Gholston, who did absolutely nothing after wowing all of the scouts. I think they just went 0-for-2.

Has the reasoning behind Al Davis's draft choices. To see it you have to go to there page and hit up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, b, a, and then press enter a lot.
edit:try other pages than the main page since it doesn't seem to work there anymore...

Jeremy Maclin reminds me of just another Desean Jackson =P
Is it just me or is he more about running and speed, than catching? If so, I don't think he's so much as a choice for the Eagles. Like I said, I think, the Eagles need a great CATCHER.
