    Default Downloading via D2D

    Hello people,

have you ever downloaded a game via D2D? I see that RTW:Gold is at 9.95 dollars, and won't leave the opportunity of get both games in one! What you have to do?

Also, I need your help. I will have to go to an certain place to do this, as I do not own a credit card, so other people will do it for me. Which kind of precaution need I to have?

Make sure you use your computer because D2D will use a kind of d/l program. So if you buy RTW and it's 3GB on someone elses computer, your going to have to burn it onto a CD or have a big USB drive to save it on to.

    I've used D2D many times.

As to precautions, not sure what you mean. If you mean security regarding the cc number used, just the usual stuff of making sure the 'puter is clean and secure is all you'll need.

One thing to remember, if you do have problems installing that stem from corrupted download, you need to delete the download files from your computer AND remove them from the downloader list.

That doesn't mean you have to repurchase the games, though. But if you simply click on the game files to download again as they're listed in the downloader, the corruptions is very likely to be repeated for some reason.

I had that problem when I bought M2 TW Kingdoms from D2D. Worked out in the end though.

Another nice thing, my D2D version of M2TW Kingdoms is installed over a disc copy of M2TW. No need to switch out discs when I play one or the other. No probs with mod installs either.

Well, you are downloading the game, like with steam, but that is where it stops. Steam is a whole program.

Cool store, bro! I want some ham.
    No ham, pepsi.
They make deli slices of frozen pepsi now? Awesome!
You also need to purchase a small freezer for storage of your pepsi.
It runs on batteries. You'll need a few.
Uhh, I guess I won't have pepsi then. Do you have change for a twenty?

I only used D2D once about a year ago, gave me a direct download to an EXE and a key for the installation, worked well imho.
