    Default Post Patch [04/30]: Industrial buildings do not cause unrest..,

    This was not mentioned in the patch notes so I presume it's a bug. Industrial buildings post-patch no longer cause unrest (from industrialization). It's now possible to have happy populus with no garrison, maximum research in humanism + absolute monarchy... At least the unrest part has become way too easy now.

    OK, my mistake on this one. I was playing as GB. It appears, constitutional monarchies do not have to worry about industrial unrest since the do not have any "lower class". Does not make sense, but I guess, it's a feature - makes playing GB even more ridiculously easy.

    Heh, I can picture the complaints after that gets fixed
    Tax/upkeep change complaints are going to look mild compared to:
    "Zomg, CA sux0rz!!11!1 I had 100% happyness before the patch, everything was sweet & I had maxed 0ut research, mills everywhere, then the patch came along & now ALL my cities keep rebelling
    Not only have I destr0y3d the ETW DVD, I flushed my modem down the toilet & threw my PC out the window! "
    maybe those guys should be doing something more useful...

    I guess we can say that the changes have resulted in a need to rebalance.

    Of course it means rebalancing more than just the units. It means rebalancing the economies and abilities of various factions.

    It also means a rebalance (or the need to rebalance) in the difficulty levels.

    I think they should make it so non-cities provinces can actually get the Max-rank town building instead of the upgrade before. At the moment, it seems to be the case where you this is only the case when it is the capital.

    Actually they do cause industrial unrest. It is that just the first two tiers aren't causing it. Tier 3 causes one and tier 4 causes two industrial unrest for the lowest class.

    Quite historical correct actually because only real industrialization caused unrest because craftsmen were replaced by cheap labor.
