He claims role blocker. Rules don't say anything about a role blocker... Could be one of the secret roles, but there's more:

If he blocked LittleGrizzly then how could LittleGrizzly have ordered his lictors to protect him? This doesn't add up. If LittleGrizzly truly would have been blocked, then his protection would have failed.

LittleGrizzly, do the results of your night action mention anything unusual that hints towards the blocking of your night action?

Has Chaotix ever been ordered to block a townie from the townie groups, just to check his claim? Otherwise, he has the perfect fake role for being active at night: solo character doesn't need to be in a group...

Being blocked may allow him to see the abilities of whomever he is blocking, and possibly to accept it into his own. Sort of like how the woman at the beginning "blocked" whomever they blocked (my memory is hazy), maybe he blocks through a personal relation with the target.

This would explain why other actions would continue in someone's place, someone being blocked that is.

I am told by my night results that I am well gaurded but they let the woman in...

My theory is my orders don't get blocked... as im simply telling my troops to stand gaurd... but if i tried to participate in some group action the block would be effective...

Thats the impression i get from my night results...

My blocking ability also has the added effect that if a player has guards assigned to him (and only in that way, I've discovered) I am able to share that player's guards for the night. From experience blocking other Praetors or Consuls, I've learned that if they try to send their guards to someone else, I do wind up blocking that. It's kind of like a double edged sword.

If you want, I can block a player who's using a group action tonight- just make sure that the group has only enough people so that if I block one person then it fails, if you want proof. Also, you may want to make sure it won't result in someone getting killed.

That, and I'd like to be protected myself if I'm going to do that, if possible. Mentioning that I'm going to block someone without guards is kind of like a death sentence if either mafia family wants to kill me, and my goal is to survive.

No we haven't. We haven't located any trustworthy people.

    This bears repeating:

The mafia have cover pm's, someone having an ability (like investigation) that another townie has is no proof of innocence.

The mafia only need one of them to kill on a night, not three, leaving the others free to participate in townie groups.

The last thing we want to do is to reveal who was active in townie groups--that hands the mafia a short list of pro town roles.

One thing that should be revealed though: one person didn't show up for the protection of "everyone". I can't post who was in that group, but one of the members should.

I believe atheotes was the one who skipped out on the khaan kill.

I'm confused, what is the purpose of one group of people attempting to both kill and protect me? I don't understand what results it could give.

It was designed so that we could have as many people doing something a night so that no one could be out killing townies.

It ties both parties up for the night so they can't do evil, mafia type things.

Oh yeah, Vote: Ichigo As I mentioned before, I was suspicous of him earlier in the game but his awesome lurking skills mean I keep forgetting about him. It's more the fact I keep forgetting him that has me voting for him now, I honestly can't remember why I was suspicous...

It allows people to know whether they're doing mafia kills or not, because if one person pulls out, the attack or protection fails, thus indicating that someone in their group might well be mafia.

Please. If you're going to vote for me because you're confused, tell me what confuses you (in the thread or via pm, I don't care.) and I will lift the so-called veil of confusion. There are some who know exactly who I am (actually most of them are dead now- YLC, Sasaki, ATPG, maybe a few others), there are others who have ideas about what I might be, but everyone who has bothered to read the thread knows that I am a role with a blocking ability, whose only goal is to survive the game, and who can share the guards of someone who I block.

I don't need people voting for me because of "gut instinct", because if I die, then I lose, and I'd rather not lose because I revealed to the town rather than keeping a low profile and staying hidden.

Also- Ichigo is a terrible vote, too. I know what he is, and it would be a bad idea to lynch him.

Finally, I suggest that Sasaki give us the list of townies who was supposed to do night actions last night, and we'll vote someone who wasn't doing any action, instead of just voting based on "instinct" or "suspicious lurking". While they are valid reasons sometimes, in this game there are townies who need to remain hidden from the mafia as much as the mafia must remain hidden from the town.
