We should especially keep that in mind with the people who the Don has said were cleared by investigations. That source could very easily be a stoolie himself.

Sadly, he was totally inactive during the night we had two attempts. He hadn't even read the role PM I sent him for my game until several days later.

Either he is awesome at hiding his role, willing to lose in one game to save himself in another, or he's clean. Frankly with a tactic as genius as that... Go atheotes!

Day 5

As if almost by silent consensus, the seating arrangement of the most recent meeting had been split into two distinct groups. At the head of the table, as usual, was Don Giampetro. However, after that, it got complicated. On one side of the table were the people who seemed to be in no danger of being named, who were instead comfortably accusing people without fear of reprisal. On the other side of the table were the accused.

Now, the accused people, all of them shocked at their honor being impugned, did not band together and try to fight back against their accusers. Instead, they turned on each other, pointing their fingers and calling each other very ungentlemanly names, as the people on the "Haves" side of the table passed judgment.

Eventually, Al Graziani (spL1tp3r50naL1ty) was named as the consensus choice, even after he himself, in protest, had named himself as guilty. Despite this supposed admission, Graziani was defiant until the end, protesting his innocence even as the Don went through his usual ritual and called his bodyguards to drive him away.

The rest of the men gathered inside the room still heard Graziani protesting his innocence and yelling at his captors even as he was being ushered outside and thrown into a car. As a matter of fact, it didn't stop until a sharp, clear gunshot resonated throughout the room.

Day 5 tally:

I err... cast the deciding vote for myself several times over the course of various games. I thought I had good reasons for it. Why splitpersonality would do so, at this late stage of the game, doesn't compute with me, though. I wasn't calling for his head, and there were only 2 other votes for him.

Lame, that's all I am saying. And we could use more activity from the other players. Lame all around. Lamefest. Mary had a little Lame.

5 votes out of 10 players is lame. This game is interesting... let's treat it with some more enthusiasm.

Well, I would like to wait until the morning comes to discuss remaining suspects and so forth, because I don't need to give the stoolies any additional information.

Suspects:

All are or have been investigated but I'm waiting on word. Apparently navarro is innocent, but we simply take those three off the suspect list, and if the game doesnt end, work our way back upwards.

I think, although I can't be certain, that there's a lot more behind-the-scenes activity than evident. I'd like a little more in-thread activity as well (who wouldn't?) but for now, I'm satisfied.

Good show, I was hoping for a more honorable death, but I suppose talking until my grave hit me in the face was what I did.

I quite possibly would have changed my vote, had I been around at the time, but all that is gone now.

@ATPG: No, you didn't call for my head, but others were too sure of my death to really argue against it. I had no real reason to stay alive, and if grayblades is the stoolie, you'll get him anyway.

In retrospect, it was kind of dumb to bandwagon myself, but now I can focus on Rubicon, which I am dreadfully behind in >_<

Night 6

The sirens were coming. This time, Michael Delvecchio (Tratorix) was not eager and excited to hear their approaching sound. Instead, he was apprehensive.

He had no time to set up another trap. After driving to a secret location in the woods to hide out for the rest of the night, Delvecchio then had to drive back into the city, attend the Don's meeting, carry out his usual responsibilities, and then, ready to collapse, went back to his home to get some sleep. At that point, he was too tired to even think about driving to the safehouse down the Shore or to his shack in the woods. Besides, his exhausted brain had reasoned with him, the last place the police expect you is in your own home. You'll be hiding in plain sight.

That was good enough for him, and he drove up his driveway, not even bother to examine his still-unclean garage, and went straight to bed, hoping for a good nights' sleep. Alas, the police had other ideas. Instead of going on the prowl for his usual hiding spaces, they tried the blunt approach of checking any and everywhere he might be. Unfortunately for Delvecchio, this did include his house.

At this point, he had obtained four to five hours of sleep. Not the ideal amount, especially since he was getting older, but it would have to be enough. Not bothering to change, Michael instead took a quick swig of Red Bull, and then went for his gun - a silenced Walther PPK. He would have preferred something with a little more firepower, but this would have to do. Then, he waited.

The sirens drew closer, and stopped. Evidently, the police had arrived. Michael waited in his foyer for a short time, ready for the fight ahead. He was fairly certain that this time there would be no distractions. He probably wouldn't even have the luxury of hearing a knock or a doorbell.

As it turns out, he was right. Without pausing to announce themselves, the police went and kicked his front door right in. Waiting for the cops to show, Michael leaped out from behind the corner, pulling the trigger as fast as he could, hoping, if nothing else, to scare his enemies away so he'd have enough time to construct a proper trap, preferably one involving explosives.

There was just one problem: The gun wasn't loaded.

Instantly, the Red Bull's effects evaporated. All the police faced now was a tired, late middle-aged man holding something that paused about as much harm to them as a Nerf gun. With a grim smile on one of the men's faces, he proceeded to arrest Delvecchio, almost reluctantly reading him his rights.

Later that day, Don Giampetro again summoned his men to the usual place to discuss what had gone on. Looking as apprehensive as ever, the Don motioned them to start the procedure.

I have a two options. I can lynch Greyblades or I can lynch the other uncleared person. If we're looking for two of them I don't think it matters which one dies.

I think it really is that simple. The only uninvestigated ones now are Greyblades, Atheotes, and Beefy.

There are plenty of comfirmed townies now, so we'll just have some target practice. Vote: Greyblades

What have I actually done to be the main suspect? I mean besides getting distracted by RL long enough to lose interest? And seriously why has ATPG only out for my blood when there has been about 2-3 other people under suspicion for 2 turns now?

I mean I know that there are people that aren't all that subtle about getting someone else lynched to waste the towns time but jeeze that's just bad.

Also didn't I ask to be investigated last night?

Well, it must be either you or Atheotes assuming that we got one stoolies down, seeing as you two are the only ones who aren't comfirmed innocent.

After being reminded that you asked for investigation last night I'll switch my vote to Atheotes instead

Greyblades, Atheotes is claiming a Capo role. Seeing how neither you or Beefy are stepping up with one, I think we can assume that Atheotes is most likely innocent right now.

See, this makes me question how many of our "confirmed" innocents are really innocent. The capo's can be stoolie. The unberboss can be a stoolie. The consiglirie can be a stoolie. It says so in the rules, and they would all have fake pm's.
