    Default Fav. Comic Strip

Hi all! I thought it would be fun to get a favorite comics thread going. I couldn't post it in the misc. discussion area though, cuz I'm a newbie.

Post your favorite strip or a strip from your favorite artist.

    Anyways, here goes (I think):

Well, a splendid web-comic is Ctr+Alt+Del. It has a storyline and is basically a graphic novel in a comic strip format. Much better than the recycled to death, zombie corpses of the classic comics.

Cool store, bro! I want some ham.
    No ham, pepsi.
They make deli slices of frozen pepsi now? Awesome!
You also need to purchase a small freezer for storage of your pepsi.
It runs on batteries. You'll need a few.
Uhh, I guess I won't have pepsi then. Do you have change for a twenty?

Haha I love that comic strip, I read the updates every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Although, I sort of miss the standalone video game jokes, that seem to be increasingly disappearing from the circulation :(
"You must know, then, that there are two methods of fight, the one by law, the other by force: the first method is that of men, the second of beasts; but as the first method is often insufficient, one must have recourse to the second. It is therefore necessary for a prince to know well how to use both the beast and the man.

Yeah unfortunately the gaming took a back-seat and I guess that is one of the reasons that I stopped reading it.

There are several webcomics that I love and it would be difficult to choose just one.

First on my list would be Schlock Mercenary by Howard Taylor. (Sci-fi Mercenary comic) The author has been updating this daily since June, 12 2000 so there is a massive archive. Latest book published has been nominated for this years Hugo Awards. (age 13+)

Second on my list would be Girl Genius by Phil & Kaja Foglio. (Steampunk/Mad Science) Updates every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The comic has also recently been nominated for this years Hugo Awards.

Really? I never got to that point yet. I began reading with the first strip in the archive. Hey, I don't care that much about the game references, as long as the comic remains so computer-nerdy. But if it is not, having degenerated to a mere life story, then I suppose I would not like it.
