Anything with Dita Von Teese on it has to win dammit....

I very much liked the UK entry. It was so... so... western. The girl has an amazing voice.

I absolutely despise the Norwegian song. Bah, really annoying. But at least it's Norway that has won.

Why does Eurovision song contest still exist?

It is a contest about which nation will embarass themselves the most...

You pulled the words out of my mouth.
It is better to conquer yourself than to win a thousand battles. Then, the victory is yours. It cannot be taken from you, not by angels or by demons, heaven or hell.

    1. Because people like to watch fancy setups with singing?

    2. Because girlfriends/wives are a strong influence?

    3. Because it's cheerful and gay?

Pick whichever you like. It should be seen as an opportunity for people to travel around Europe and spend time with people from different countries. This year it's in Moscow, last year Belgrade, year before than Helsinki, year before that Athens...

It definitely shouldn't be seen as a talent competition but as an opportunity for people to travel around and get together. In that regard, it ain't too bad...

I have laughed heartily every time I have come across a Eurovision song on the web. This is the first time to be honest that I have liked any song from it. I liked Norway and Slovakia, but esp Norway.
I thought the Norway entry this time was fantastic.

Europe's cultural output, in the form of monuments, museums, galleries etc should be seen as a motivating factor for travelling. Eurovision on the other side is Europe's un-cultural output...

Oh and Norwat should be sending this song every year. Nothing beats this song.

Too small of a top showing belly and cleavage is a sure win... Wait, didn't Grease submit such a entry this year?

Oh.. btw, I voted for Sweden. The best song in the contest hands down.

Any excuse for traveling and broadening one's horizons is good in my book. The more we learn about each other the easier we'll get along...

    That's the entire point!

once you realise the slim chances of winning... hence you just make efforts to poke fun at it; Look at Vercha Seduchka, Ukraine 2007. And She Came Second!

Spain with Chiki Chiki last year, I highly doubt that anyone really expected that song to win.

@Rasoforos... sadly they have rules... yet none saying that we cant enter an act already on a contract; it's only the song which has to be new and unheard. Now where are all these popular groups that go to europe... and also... they dont have to be the country's nationalities!
