    Default Romani Reforms

    Playing as Romani.

Polybian reforms spoiler in the FAQ says:

    -At least year 242
-Hold 2 of these cities (Segesta, Mediolanum, Patavium, Bononia)
-Hold 2 of these cities (Lilibeo, Messana, Syracuse)
    OR
    -Wait until 210BC
(You get the new units only after upgrading your MICs.)

I have all of Cisalpina, and all Sicilia. Was playing last night and the year flicked over to the first season in 242BC but I didn't notice any difference. How do I know whether the reforms worked? Is it a matter of try and see (by upgrading by MICs?) - although I still can't build roman MICs in tarentum, rhegium, bononia etc.

...and yes, I have the script activated at all time.

It usually takes until summer 242 to kick in, give it another turn or two before you worry. You'll know it worked as you will be able to build different barracks in homeland regions and the adviser will pop up to tell you.

    Cheers mate.

I suppose I was a little bit hasty. Was just worried I was doing something wrong. I will wait a few more seasons and see what happens, and will let you know.

It worked...in the second season of 242 (summer?). Feeling good about it.

    Cheers twice.
