well, after the techies at Dell broke my fan and heatsink, i sent it back for repairs... again...
you see, my laptop would freeze up a few minutes after i turned it on.
so i sent it back. again.
i got it back from repairs today, and guess what? my freezing problem still persisted.
so i got on the phone with dell. on my third try calling (ill tell you why it took me 3 tries later) the techie on the line, after a slew of other things he told me to try, told me to boot up on safe mode and do a system restore. guess what? it worked. my problem is fixed and i am happily typing on it right now.
hats off to Dell, for even though they caused me HUGE headaches, they pulled through....
but funny that they only pulled through when i requested a replacement system....
anyhow, heres the reason why it took me 3 tries to get me in contact with a Dell techie:
if you begin yelling at Dell (i was fuming over their failure to fix it) they hang up on you.
