The crew gathered together and the captain ordered them to vote on who the killer among them was. When all the votes were tallied, it turned out that Montgomery Scott, AKA "Scotty", would be the first to die.



Scotty: No Captain! I cannae do it... I don't have the willpower to kill myself. One of you will have to do it. Take my hand phaser, before I do something I regret.

Captain Kirk: Okay, my friend. I am sorry to have to do this, but... there aren't very many people who are left alive on the ship. And since you spend your time in Engineering, it's likely you were picked off first.

Scotty: But I wasn't, Captain, I swear! I am as innocent as a wee baby child!

Spock: It is only logical that you be considered a suspect, regardless of our personal feelings.

Uhura: Come on, Scotty... hand over the phaser. We can have one last drink together.

Scotty: Aye, you're a fine lass. I never got a chance to say this but... in another time and another place, you and I could have been an item. Would you consent to one last kiss?

Uhura: Ok, I guess....


As Scotty approached Uhura, he whipped out his hand phaser and grabbed Uhura, and pointed the weapon at her head.

Scotty: Now, stand back all of you... I wouldn't want to see this bonnie fine lass become nothing more than scattered molecules being sucked up by the atmospheric scrubbers.

Sulu: No, dammit... Scotty don't do this!

Chekov: There's nowhere to go... just drop the weapon and we will help you... we can find out what is happening inside your mind... Doctor McCoy can help make you all better...

Uhura: Get your hands off of me before I break them off!

Scotty: Don't you know who I am??? I am the most famous serial killer of them all! I AM REDJAC THE POSSESSOR!!! Also known as Jack the Ripper, Beratis and Kesla, I've been killing living beings for centuries, inhabiting various host organisms and destroying everything in my path. This foolish woman will be yet another weakling in my long list of victims. If you come any closer, I will kill her... now let me leave... or you ALL will die...

Captain Kirk pulled out his hand phaser, as did Spock. But that only made Redjac prepare to pull the trigger on Uhura. Fortunately, Hikaru Sulu had moved behind Scotty, and had pulled out a sword and decapitated the alien being.

Redjac the serial killer would never harm anyone again. Could it be that they found the killer already? Was the reign of terror over?
