Default How do you roleplay rebellions with codes?

Yes best way is just simple:

add_population Seleukeia, Roma, Hekatompylos, etc 10000 ten times

then lets watch the rebellion start.

yes I am sure you use this as well but there should be better codes for roleplaying.
    Any advice please!

I do not know what kind of rebellion you have exactly in your mind, but the most obvious way would be to give the province to another faction (just make sure they can actually recruit some troops there).

This thread might also be useful for you.

There is a max squalor malus in settlements, so you cannot make most settlements rebel through overpopulation alone.

Hey thats some good stuff there.

In that thread it mentioned switching factions to bribe your own FM's. Would this work for that? And if it did would I be able to change back to my own faction without any forseeable drama's?

I know it seems like more work than necessary, but having FM's show up as deserted would add to the feel of the game.

It's gunna be quite a while before I need it anyway.

I have read the thread Marvin.
I tried sending an army of spys:
Loyalty %15 and no rebellion, yes they riot but they simply do not rebel!
So I will use my old tested method: Conquer/Slaughter/Ruin/Very High Tax rate...
also to put a family member into a Gov4 really nightmare. noted..
So will restart the campaign without waiting AS take my beloved capital. In VH, mate AI will attack you , at least AS always attacked me before 270BC.
H/M is easy AS is very weak, VH gives her enough money to send me Pezhetairoi in 260s and Argyrapidoi in 250s.
So I shall not wait Argyrapidoi massacre my Shivatirs you can be sure of it.

I have forgotten, I wanted to create conflict between Askhanian Royal Court and local aristocracy, that in fact destroyed them. (Sassanids).
But however they are disloyal they do not rebel unfortunately.....
and when I create gov4 and send them to govern them. the city rebels but local aristocrats dies in riot. they do not participate in. I wish the real history would be like that...
