I've tried the compatibility mode for 98 - present, the problem exists in all of them, with the exception of 98 which for whatever reason won't even start the program

1. How do I change my OS? if I did change it would I ever be able to change it back?
2. I guess that's possible, kinda a bummer though.
3. All I have is this one Laptop, unfortunately
