Aemilius, normal people do not feel immediately attracted to quizzes the way you are. The title should say Geography game, since it's actually kinda like a game. I tend to visualize "quizzes" in the form of questions. 
Now to everyone else. You should really try the game. It's actually fun, you need to point out as close as possible, in a map, the locations of several famous, and not so famous, cities and places around the world.
I got a lousy 101 traveler's IQ. Africa killed me.

Although, the test is really how well do you know your countries + knowledge of the cities of canada, russia, china, brazil, usa, argentia and australia. It's pretty easy to pinpoint the capital of sri lanka.
Things that killed me in the last round were the pacific islands...and mixing up new guinea and equitorial guinea.

Ouch. Yeah, that is almost exactly on the other side of the world. Pacific also killed me, but Papua New Guinea is still South-east Asia by my reckoning. It is right east of Indonesia.IQ 108 on level 10...

I am going to beat this game too. I came short of mere 2,000 points on my first try. I can get 60,000. Just not today, as I have to go to sleep now. 23:00 here, almost.
EDIT: Wait a sec. I had a higher score than you, Jolt, but I did not finish level 12.
Something is not right. I finished with the first two numbers in the score being 58. You have 57. How is that possible? Follow my link I posted and take it again. Sure. It is pretty easy since they name the country when they name the city/place. I know every country in the world. Plus the islands are a bit intuitive. But then again, I'm an International Relations student, so its kinda my job to be geographically aware. Yeah, level 8 for me is still easy level. :PYou beat AP?!

@AP: You might have gotten a higher punctuation at the early levels, whilst he got enough at level 12 to beat the game. The points are measured per level, so it's irrelevant for level 12 what you got in previous levels.

Named 98 countries in 5 minutes. And I'm sleepy (5:15 AM here)
NOTE: Due to a quick freeze-up I clicked a thing a couple of times and ended up accidentally clicking on Australia when they were asking for Goa, that former Portuguese colony on the West Coast of India. That was level 11. Had it not been for the freeze-up, my score would have been higher.
BTW, the screenie was taken with Aviary. Try it. Pretty useful, you can select what you take a picture among other things.

I lost a huge amount of points clicking the "Next" button, though. It was winding down, and as I clicked it went away, meaning that I had chosen the Southern Atlantic to be the capital of Micronesia....

Woah, nice. The closest I've managed was 10 or 13 kms.
3km nice...tried to beat it but the map is so small it's hard to pinpoint.
