Patrokles Personality: Patrokles started his life as a Strategos as a very Idealistic man, believing in all his heart he was doing the right thing. but as he marched on the Phalavan campaign and saw the crippling poverty the natives lived in, and also saw the true patriotism of the Soldiers under his command, he became more and more cynical and bitter, coming to respect only his men and his friends. he still looked to Sarpedon respectfully, but even so he plotted to secede from the arche with a group of his friends, creating a independent kingdom. He assumed by doing this he could change something, but eventually realized there could be no true change, and now fights his war simply for the sake of his friends and men. He is moody and dark, but still belives deeply in honor and is very trustworthy. he also has lost any fear of death he may have once had, and awaits his doom wiht almost an eagerness to leave this world.

Biography: Patrokles was born in the city of Babylon, to a Macedonian Soldier and a native. he grew up for the first ten years of his life in the city, and it affected him profoundly. he grew to love the city and also, by extension, the Arche. when his father returned from a campaign and offered to take Patrokles with him on his next journey, Patrokles was overjoyed. he spent time alongside the soldiers of the Arche for a long time. finally he was able to return home a wealthy man. But instead choose to stay around as a strategos of Basileus Sarpedon, who he deeply respected. He battled several rebel bands around the cities of Antioch and Edessa, before he was finally given command of the newly created 1st Babylonian army. He went off on the Phalavan campaign, where he won several large battles against the Nomadic scum. But it was at this point he began to become disenchanted with the Arche, he gathered together a group of sympathetic Generals and, when he returned to Babylon, Revolted against the Arches rule, taking control of a large area of Mesopotamia. Patrokles accepted he had done this action for greed, and marched to Antioch, hoping to force a peace treaty. It failed and Sarpedons royal army moves even now to end the rebels once and for all. But Patrokles is not going to go down without a fight he gathered together the greatest army ever see outside of Sarpedons own and marched to Antioch, taking the offensive. the two great armies now meet in the plains of Antioch, both thirsting for the others death. And sadly for Patrokles, the battle lead to his capture by Sarpedon and the destruction of everything he had hoped to create.
