You guys are so damn right! It has been proven that it's possible to enhance the AI.

    Please, Please include AI improvements!

Recently i reinstalled EB 1.2 after a long time. I enjoyed the unmatched historical exactness as usual but I was really turned down by the incredibly stupid AI. I don't want to even start to sum up all the failures it produced. Finally it destroyed my enjoyment almost completely. It is such a shame that the feeling of immersion is so drastically handicapped.

Does anyone feel the same? Is the EB team already working on it?

Btw: Why is it so goddamn hard to program a challenging AI for CA?
Even a Mod-Team can do wonders.

I know the darth mod formations, which are used in several other mods already, help the AI fight it's battles immensely.

Certainly they use not only formations... there must be another "program" files..... Allready see this video.....

May we ask them, what did they do with the poor AI? they perform reasonably better...

Diplomatic AI may be broken in most mods because of the lack of a senate faction.
I'm researching into this but won't be able to bring conclusive evidence until more testing is done.

Diplomacy in Total War games has always been dubious at best.

One way to improve the ai... using Alex.exe...

OOPPSSS EB II didn't have Alex.....
    Kingdoms suck..... LONG LIVE ALEX!!!!

(But perhaps the EB team should contact XAI team, their AI was a lot better than standard M2TW)

I tried EB with alex, it only slightly improves the AI. At least if you compare it to the XAI AI mod in Medieval II. In the moment, I am very grateful to the "Sicilian Vespers" Mod which delivers almost everything i expect from a challenging game eperience.
