Your name is actually a parody of a real RE character - find out the parody, and you know who the person really is. It's what I did in my game, although it never was used.

Perhaps the attacker had a weapon originally, Melee of origin of course, and tried to use it to throw flak on someone else. I'm sure an umbrella agent would be good at foraging, even enough to get a melee weapon of some sort.
