Just installed and EB campaign wont start

Hi, I'm new to EB, although been playing TW games for years.

I'm on Vista 64bit with a high-end system, all drivers up to date.

I did a fresh install of RTW, which is at v1.5, into c:\Rome - Total War

I installed EB v1.1 into this location (along with all install options; docs etc), then did the same with v1.2.

The game loads up fine and I can select a campaign as the Romani.

On clicking start campaign, the program ends immediately and I'm returned to the desktop.

I imagine this is a common problem, but I've not found a solution when reading around.

Please help.

Probably because you are missing certain codecs, as a work around try running the game with all movies disabled:

1. If you use the trivial script: use the configuration shortcut and disable movies from there.
2. If you don't use the trivial script: add -nm to the end of the target line in the shortcut.
