The volunteers gathered again following the last two deaths. Stunningly, despite the seemingly obvious threat on their lives, very few seemed willing to put another to death to stop the assaults. When the meager tally was finally counted, Iskander was found to have the most votes. With the announcement made, the rest of the group grabbed the still-bloody brooms that had been used in the bizarre and unfortunate pinata beating earlier, and chased Iskander from the Target Center.

ATPG's curiosity once more was getting the best of him. He figured he would never have such a chance to explore his favorite local sports complex. ATPG journeyed down the hall from the office. ATPG got to the stair case and stopped. He looked to his right. Elevator. Looked back left. Stairs. Elevator. Stairs. Elevator. Stairs. ELEVATOR! ATPG pushed the button to open the elevator. *DING*. With the door open, ATPG jumped with boyish enthusiasm into the elevator.

*CREAAAAAAACK!

ATPG's spidey sense went off a few seconds too late, his head peering downwards as the fake elevator floor crumbled from beneath him. The last ATPG saw was a person standing at the open elevator door above him, smirking, as he plunged to his doom.

Probably the mafia, why are there 1 less kills, and why target ATPG? Get rid of discussion? Did we lynch a mafia off? Or did the mafia kill the other mafia.

I wasn't mafia, so it's entirely possible that the previous lynch choice was, or that the person is inactive or simply trying to make it look like there is one left.

The reason I say so is because it's very strange to act that way. None of the other players made a public show of shame from my death, or publicly doubted their own abilities.

In mafia games townies die... you move on. Your emotion over my death is touching, but suspect.

Abstaining this late in the game smacks of not wanting to attract attention or make enemies.
