Is there such a sub-mod?

I see, there was a thread about "Strategos" sub mod, and there is Alex sub mod, so, I though about EB sub mod, but with the time frame of 3-rd century imperial crisis, where Roman Empire is divided between several rival usurpers, each of those wishing to become an emperor and unite the Empire. On the other hand, the empire is attacked by various barbarian factions and by Persians from the east. I don't know what was the situation at the eastern part of the EB map at that time, but, I'm sure something was going on there as well. I don't know if mod like this exists, but I think it could be an interesting idea for a sub mod.

We call it BI, and it is not a submod

I can advice you IJ3 that suits your aim.

Actually BI time frame is later than the 3-rd century crisis. And, what's IJ3?

IMPERIUM JULIANORUM recently released version 3, and you still have a chance to unite romans under one banner, he failed I hope you will not...
If you try it you will agree with me as well, I played lots of mod and you cannot find another that suits your perspective.

Yeah, I believe you are speaking of the various IBFD mods. Look there, there are plenty of Late Roman Era mods encompassed under one label of Invasio Barbarorum.

I've checked the links (thanks for that) Invasio Barbarorum mods. Look interesting, but a little abandoned, compared to EB. It is close to the time frame I'm talking about, but it's not imperial crisis. It looks there's no mod or sub mod for the soldier emperors time. I thought about doing it myself, but it seems the amount of work for this both in modeling and research is enormous. The only thing I could probably do myself is the script as I have experience in software development, everything else (especially unit skinning, working with 3D Max or Photoshop) is beyond me. The more I think about the work needed for a good mod, the more I appreciate the work EB team has done

The mod isn't really abandoned, it's just that their main activity is on TWC. I know that it's not the exact period you are looking for but more info on the mod is available here.
