Default Concerning Trade Routes - Seleukeia

    Hey guys

I've been playing Seleukeia again after a Saba campaign and I've noticed that the trade route buildings give no bonus (in the first stage at least). Is this correct?

If they are similar to the caravan line of building then it is correct that the first level gives no bonus. I believe it is supposed to represent an expedition to ascertain whether a trade route is feasible, rather than actually opening a trade route at the first stage.

Ah, thanks. I hadn't come that far yet.

And if you play the AS the building is therefore only suitable in outlying regions without ports as a costly way to get some extra trade going. (Higher levels aren't available in regions with ports or governments of type II or I.)
