    My humble idea according to my observation;
    -Better battle AI,
    -Better diplomacy,
-mod friendly,(but it does not support BI features like shildrom, shieldwall,) more models..
-more stable?(many claims it but I have modded a lot so the more you mod the more you get CTD)

As I like better AI, I like it.
I used LZ3's minimod pack and his adaptation of Alex EB.
Also I can only use it for my last mod because I have added nearly 40 unit models.

I wish it has added some more limits other than just models, it has same hard code 500 unit entries.

    Thumbs up Re: ALEXANDER EB

Everything Atraphoenix said is correct. Also, the campaign AI is improved, as it partakes in intelligent naval invasions that do not strip it defenceless like in BI. In BI, the AI would attack via sea all the time and in ALEX, the AI actually knows how to wield the tool. It also retrains, bringing the difficulty ever higher, which is splendid. Finally, you get I believe soemthing like 40 new unit slots (EB's slots are full) and you can use those new ALEX slots to add units from other mods, or form the currently progressing minimod.

All this in addition to what Atra said is more than enough reasons for me to switch. Oh, and also, you can make your FMs immortal, if you would like that . That is actually the main reason I got ALEX-EB. I loathe to see my best generals die.

EDIT: Oh, and ALEX is easier on your system resources, so it is usually faster.

First of all, do not expect an AI with "brain". RTW still has its limitations. Battle AI is better, with its flanking movements, but reinforcements bugs still abound.

Secondly, this is all you need. It will automatically do all the things that are described in ALEX-EB thread. Not that any of that stuff is difficult either. I forgot if that thing comes with an installer or if you have to do it manually, but you can ask me as you go along.

Well, there are many people (me included) who debate about the AI being that much better with ALEX. I believe it is entirely subjective, just try it out yourself and judge for yourself.

    Rite heres what iv done.

Before i start remember this is not the Alexander EB mod its the engine to make better AI on the vanilla version

    So far i have

    1) installed RTW 1.5 and Alexander

    2) installed EB 1.1

    3) installed EB 1.2

    4) installed EB fixes

    5) unzipped Alx on EB files into my EB

    My questions so far

    1) Do i need to change the target line for single player or has installed Alx on EB files automatically done that?

    2) do i use rome total war CD or alexander CD to run this engine?

    3) How will i know when its all done properly?

Please some 1 help lol im dying to play this
