Beware of Naked Colonies

I was sooo looking forward to getting the American Colonies to join me (GB). I had whuped up on the Frinchies and the Cherokies and even a few other Amerinids to boot. And when I finally prevailed there in all their glory were the colonies with NOTHING in them. I was expecting to get their troops and ships. Boy was I wrong!

So just a warning. Have some cash on hand and some troops to hold them when you win them.

Thanks for the warning. I am in 1706 and the USA just formed in Carolina. Maybe there won't even be any 13 Colonies by the time we take Montreal.

Agreed, it's best not to rush to take all the territories required to obtain the colonies. You won't have the money to build the infrastructures/armies to defend them properly. Instead take out the surrounding areas one at the time and upgrade those first before moving on to the next batch.

And the USA fighting the colonies is really weird to see. Could represent royalists vs separists? Anyway since the colonies only have militia + maybe indians and the USA has proper indian ( not colombus) line infantry the USA usually takes the upperhand, only to be overthrown by Indian factions theirselves.
