This Thread is in the strategy archive and is specifically about the Shimazu. Take a look at the other stuff though many of the ohter htreads might be useful, particularly any about No-Dachi.

Strange indeed. I read the post on shimitzu strategy, and i must say i tried a diffrent way, and it worked very well on normal. I produced units at sat, and just convoyed them up, while i gave up the nagato, and used the 300 army against the province of imaguga. In a year and a half i had hizen and the other then all i had to do was take out the 60 man group at the bridge province, and i was in the money as it wer. In fact i was able to do a 2 prong attack, against mori, and the rebels. Oh well everybody does it diffrent.
