Have you tried lowering the graphic settings, playing in a window mode?

There are a billion things it could be, not least of which is the fact that youve switched graphics cards, and possibly left some traces of drivers from the old graphics card lying around in the system.
Try using driver cleaner pro or driversweeper to completely remove your old card's drivers, then reinstall the drivers for your new card. No guarantees this will help, but it's always worth a try if you have problems after switching cards.
Before you try that however i'd recommend following Prodigal's advice - turn all of the graphics settings down to minimum and see if the problem goes away. If it does, try turning them up gradually to identify the problem area. Bear in mind that a $99 graphics card isnt top of the range and so may not be able to handle everything ETW can throw at it.

I gather from the responses that this is my hardware's fault, not the ETW software's fault?
I had all the video settings on low already. But I was not playing in Windows mode, I will try that next. Thanks!
With the old graphics card, I could play neither battles nor campaigns; it would always crash immediately.
MTW1 works fine on my current setup. These are the only two games I have played in years.
But if I am the only one with this particular problem then it might be me. Am I the only one?

It would also be helpful to know what graphics card, drivers and operating system you are using currently, some Nvidia drivers are known to be quite unstable with the game for instance. The easiest way to find out is to go to type "dxdiag" into the run command in the start menu (if I remember my XP days) or just type it in the search field on vista.
Go to the display tab at the top and it'll have the info we need. Oh, and this probably belongs in the Apothocary so don't be surprised if a mod moves it![]()
Other than the Window setting, are you able to access the graphic card performance? I had troubles with mine until set its power usage to its highest setting. Either way as Boohugh says the system info is a bit of a must.
