I was playing normal with Hojo. I took out Takeda clan from the first fight sicne he was foolish enough to attack me :P
After went the Uesugi and imagawa clan. Then I saw Oda clan. It has a huge army. It won all other clans... only mori was still "alive"
After some great victories of my generals l was pushing him back and then a stupid ninja killed my daimyo

Usually when I play the western clans; Shimazu has a big horde. Oh well, that;s why I always keep a geisha/shinobi/ninja in my daimyo province for counter-syping...

I've had my daimyo killed by nina before, playing as Uesugi; since i was less than three years into the game, I can only assume it was by Imagawa.
(I've since learned to hate the Imagawa and do everything in my power to take him down, even at the cost of delaying the game or gaining strategic advantage. I never play as Imagawa because of this, too.)

Well my daimyo was in a citatel and they were 2h1 shinobis and 1h2 ninja in the area.
Agrrrrrrr it would have been a really high honoured one.

Well Force, always keep your daimyo in the province that has counter-spy thing (I can't remember what it was called ). It was the one that you can build straight away, you can spy on the near provinces, then you have to up grade it to make a counter-spy). Any ninja or shinobu coming in that province will be captured andd killed by your security force.
