Well, technically speaking, no one should withhold results and being quite honest, they would only be caught out obviously trying to do that, and end of the day, if they are a mafia/non-investigator, whatever answer (innocent or guilty) is the wrong answer and just get discovered anyway.

"Hello, can I take yeh ordeh?" asked the waitress.
"I'll have a glass of wine in front of me," said Atheotes
"I can haz cheezburgerzz??/" inquired Iskander
"Ok, one wine and one cheeseburger, coming right up!"

Waitress comes back with food and wine

Iskander turned to Atheotes."Whoz da guiltie one????"
"Hang on, my computer is hacking into Tratorix's account," said Atheotes, sipping his wine. "Let's see...looks like he's...."
Suddenly Atheotes keeled over, dead.
"Oh noes!" cried Iskander. "He is teh Poisondorz!"

In the morning, everyone gathered around. Iskander took out his computer. "I've got a big red one!" Ignoring him, everyone else started discussing the events of last night and who, if anyone, they should point their fingers at.

CDF rushed in. "ohh snap wait!!! I forgot to do my investigation! I investigate Tratorix!!!!!"
"Dude, I'm right here," responded Tratorix. "Besides, it's daytime now."
