is it possible?
Right now main research location is Cambridge school, but in Oxford I have University?
would that faster up research turns?if yes, how can it be done?

you mean you have a school/university in both places?
in that case:
-go to the lower-right of the campaign map, where the 'end turn' and 'government' buttons are.
-in that little bar, there should be a button where there should be a hammer/gavel or something similar.
-click on that.
-a menu should pop-up, with all the technologies on it, plus the colleges you have at the top.
-click on the college in the top menu, and then click on any colored-in technologies.
-that college will start researching the tech, and will complete at a certain amount of turns.
-if you are unsure which ones you should research, you can right-click on the tech and see what it does.

In other words: with 2 schools (or colleges or universities) you can research 2 technologies at the same time. And yes, a university is faster at research than a school.
i had slightly mistake
seems I can only research in Cambrigde, i Had school there, then University
but in Oxford i cant seem to build anything, wanted another University, but only asset there is College![]()
You should be able to research in all schools/colleges/universities no matter how many you have in the same province. Or do you mean that you can't upgrade Oxford anymore? Quite confused about what you're asking![]()

to upgrade colleges to universitys and upwards from there, you must first research the techs associated. i believe cambridge starts as a university, but you have to research an enlightenment tech to upgrade any other schools.
build the colege, then you must research (i believe) physiocracy. whichever tech is on the far left of the enlightenment tech tree will unlock new college levels, which you must then upgrade.

Religious buildings at the top level are called Divinity Collages.
They look almost the same but if you want a research facility there you will have to tare it down and build a school. Schools cost 1500 and church schools only 500 and you can’t research with a church school.
Oxford starts as a religious building!

thanks everybody, that was quick and helpfull![]()
By the way, be careful when building two schools in one province, they create lots of clamour to reform by themselves, and yet even more once you research more enlightment technologies.

OT: does anyone see religious schools as useful? you get the same happiness with everyone with a pleasure palace.

It converts the populace as well, taking away religious discontent. If you take a state of your own religion, then there is no point in it. It's also rather cheap.

I choose religious schools over taverns because you also get missionary who can convert regions you are going to take over later.
And I think if you build religious school the religious unrest goes away before it should (over 90% own religion)
Sure it can be useful to have rakes for assassinating enemy agents but most nations I take over are so small that they disappear anyways sooner or later.

i never use rakes; they are too much trouble and dont really help.

I had a brilliant young Austrian General to be assassinated right after his most brilliant victory wich earned him lots of retinue and traits... Didn't reload because I would have had to fight 30 minute intense battle all over again![]()

Indian assassins in-game are apparently Thugee cultists. Hence, "thug".

Yea, those light green cannon spamming bastards![]()
in marathas cammpain (1814), the mughals have only once used a unnit than pikemen, cavalry, bowmen, or demi-cannons. and there were only like 2 units of musketeers :/
