France had the most feudal design which will keep the politics exciting for ya's. Also the crusades and battles for expansion will give you lots to do.
I suppose you could consider the italian states working together a new rome.

Although I voted fro France, Denmark is my other choice, England in third.

I think it's pretty clear right now that France is winning the poll handily. Does anyone want a final poll between France and England (and Denmark if it gets at least one more vote) or shall we just declare France the winner?

I'd say give it to France. It works much better that way. Expansion, crusades, and a true feudal monarchy come together in her.

Also, we could name the houses after the historical dynasties: Capet, Valois, Bourbon, and Plantagenet.

8-5 is a good lead. I'm tentatively picking France as our faction. Also starting a final mod poll to see whether we're going with DLV or LTC.

The house names would be great!! It's those things that create a good background for the game.
