Yep. Battery last only for about 2 hours and 20 minutes according to some internet reviews. Crap but meh...my current laptop only lasts for an hour and a half. GAH!

Anyways, a but came out. It seems that it's about to be discontinued by ASUS and it will be replaced by N81VP-D1. However, there are still no ETA nor exact specs. Some people believe that it will have slightly better spec, maybe a better battery or an improved video card. However nothing has been released.

That brings a problem. I need the laptop to arrive before June 17th (cause I'm leaving), so I think waiting for the new model is out of question. If I wanted the new model I would have to wait until December to have it.

Hmm, I'm not sure what specs you'd be waiting for. I don't think ATI or Nvidia have new laptop g-cards dropping anytime soon, and that Intel chip isn't going to be superseded by anything amazing this week. And a "better" battery? The problem ain't the battery, its the specs. No laptop with those specs is going to give you great unplugged time, unless it's one of those freaky-deaky new Apple ones with the flat batteries.
