    Default EB voicemod available?

    Hello everyone,

a friend of mine brought me 2 copies of the RTW & M2TW from Scotland. Oh the joy to hear the English battle speeches and other "original" staff. I only owned the German versions.

The main reasons for me to order the English versions are EB, EB II and the Dominion of the Sword mod both to be released sooner or later.

I know that there is a voice mod existing for EB , yet i do not know if ths mod is already finshed and what the changes will be. I could not find the preview searching the fori.

Could anyone tell me: Is the voicemod ready? What are the mein changes? Is it worth installing? Is it difficult to install (don´t wanna destroy my smmothly running EB install)?

    Thanks everbody, Sub

Yes, the voicemods include: Latin voicemod, Greek voicemod, Celtic voicemod, Proto-Germanic voicemod and lately a Punic voicemod as well. If you want the files, just look in the EB\Data\Sounds files.

Mediteran, would you happen to be Greek? A Korkyraios?

Oh, already included! Very good! Thank you gentlemen! I did not notice, as i only had 1/2 an hour to test yesterday night! AFAIK I would say the atmosphere is better in the English version compared to the German one. I read once, there were more general speeches in there....i am always amused listening to these!

No problem. You just have to do a bit of "nosing" yourself to find which sound files you're interested in.

The general's speech is short in EB, you won't find any fun there. In vanilla, it was also only expanded for the romans, the rest of the factions had short and unfun ones, even meaningless.

You may find some of the short descriptions on buildings in EB fun though.

Having problems getting EB2 to run? Try these solutions.
