EB Re-Installation - Some questions.

After messing round with Roma Surrectum, Chivalry and Rise of Persia for a while - I have decided to get back into E.B - Which in my opinion is THE GREATEST of all the mods by a considerable distance.

I have some questions however - Any info would be greatly appreciated.

In my previous installation I had followed a guide to speed up time between turns by removing a large portion of the E.B script involved with the client ruler system... As the client ruler system has been totally changed within 1.2 - is this process either unneccessary or impossible? My computer is becoming old now, and the loading times involved were a big issue BUT that particular change made a good difference...

Also, I remember reading in many threads that the A.I and diplomacy was improved when using Alex.exe or BI.exe.
What is the real truth in this?. As I dont have either of these, will E.B function correctly If i manage to download and use a cracked version of these versions? As most of you will understand - the AI and diplomacy can be ridiculous at the best of times!

I absolutely LOVE this mod, and I want to get the very best experience with it possible. So any help as to these issues would be greatly appreciated!!!

There is no client ruler script, as there was before, so the question is mute. Turn times have been drastically reduced, and you will not need to remove any part of the script to enjoy the game.

While the AI is said to have improved in other versions of the game, we do not nor ever will condone the illegal downloading and copying of computer games. You can now buy Alexander for as little as £7.99 first-hand (and a lot cheaper second-hand), and there is no possible excuse for not investing in the game if you want to experience the work that the developers put in.

I hope this has answered your questions. Any further mention of illegal use of games will be cause for a lock.
