I'm excited by this too. More modellers=closer finishing date!Making sure Huene, our new talented modeller, is making our first Sabaean unit historically accurate. -Moros
Four new updates since last time:
Finished a bearded officer – GustaveLive, swordsmen of the north – MorosSpears have now also joined the ranks of the new EB II arabian warriors. – MorosThe Model of another cetic general is finished. Working on the next one. – JMRC
New Arabian warriors, possible new faction?
Swordsmen form the north, Lugii perhaps? If they return as swordsmen at least.
North of what?
Technically, numidian swordsmen would be swordsmen from the north of the Sahara...
Maybe a noble Scandinavian unit? (When I see "from/out of the north, I always think viking!)
from Megas Methuselah for helping with city names
from Hooahguy for my sig
its so much fun watching you all guess and knowing your all wrong![]()
...maybe a first finished unit for an yet-to-be-announced Belgae preview? 'swordsmen' seem rather suggestive of an revised EBII version of EBI's Milnaht (just a wild guess)...Live, swordsmen of the north – Moros
'...usque adeo res humanas vis abdita quaedam:opterit et pulchros fascis saevasque secures:proculcare ac ludibrio sibi habere videtur.' De rerum natura V, 1233ff.
You guys should know better.
Ah getting warmer.
could the faction symbol in morus' sig actually depict a Camel/Dromedary?
still "northern Swordsmen" could mean anything from the casse sword masters to the aforementioned nabatean swordsmen. :~
"Who fights can lose, who doesn't fight has already lost."
- Pyrrhus of Epirus
"Durch diese hohle Gasse muss er kommen..."
- Leonidas of Sparta
"People called Romanes they go the House"
- Alaric the Visigoth
Is there a Jewish or Syrian/Palmyrene sword unit then?

AAAAAAAAAAA........ We have a new middle eastern faction!!!! Or we will learn it's just a new Seleucid regional :S
Europa Barbarorum Secretary
Haven't read nor bought it yet. I'm a bit bussy with papers for school (one on mithridates VI, the other about Augustus) and for EB I'm focussing on getting the last bits of unit conception done. Probably will look into it during easter break.
Edit: I've told once before that we'd add more regionals to arabia. As the south didn't fight like the north, nor did the west fight like the east. Hence there'll be a lot of regionals, but not necessarily linked to a single settlement or tribe. There'll be more generic units too, this one will be such a unit for north arabia. But that's all I have to say about the regional units until an arabian preview. But that's not for the next first weeks.
