And I noticed little shield symbols on 2 of the unit cards Does that mean they'll have at least 2 stages of evolution?
Yep it's an early and late unit, most units in eb2 will be like this. It's a nice way to add to the diversity and not get bored of the units as the game advances.

Ah and I almost forgot to say that they look pretty awesome!
    Thanks.

But yeah really nice units, also interesting as well being a mix of both Celts and Germanics from the looks of it.
Yeah the only one who thought that the unit may be lugian, both here and on TWC. Sadly no, there are other factions which were more important than the Lugians for that timeframe. Which factions those are will be revealed in the future.

    ... and a new update:
Finished skinning an helmet, I wont say for what but here's a sneek peek: http://bit.ly/9e5X8r ~Tux
Hmm, the head of the mythical beast on top looks almost exactly like that of a 6th century BC Griffon protome of the Greek 'orientalizing' style - but it seems more likely based on late Achaemenid Persian Art of the 4th Century BC, not to speak of later Hellenistic variants of this motive... ;)

Could that be possibly be an helmet for an 'Graeco-Persian' factional elite cavalry unit (Pontos, based on coin iconography...) ;)

Tux is falling short of his usually sneak peak standards, in my opinion:

Most of Tux' sneak peaks are as much a preview to me as they are to you. But this helmet here, I actually have an idea who it belongs to. That bodes ill, next thing I might even know what units are in the mod before Tux previews them!

    Definitely not spartans.
However, they are maybe the famous Santa Claus shock troopers in Lorica Segmentata...

Text descriptions are an amazing part of EB. I learnt much more from just reading EB information than all the history channel viewing and history classes combined

Lvcretivs, interesting guess on the helmet, but you're a bit off.

A kind of bitmap font used by M2TW/Kingdoms. Or: an EB 2 side project/tool that aims to allow modders to edit/generate CUF files for their mods.
