We're currently working on Dubstep Camel Caravans. They are completely area of effect. Blistering beats and heavy humping.

    Err, yes.

I knew the mod was missing something...

I'm going to do a little bit of shameless self promotion here: check out my Sweboz AAR for EB2 (alas discontinued)

This is this Ancient Sabaic Dubstep. In fact, Moros has to pull off quite a number of feats, not unlike Indiana Jones (3 boulders and 1460 miles of high speed chases where no one's pistol runs out of ammunition), to recover what we thought was a 2000 year old circular stone petrograph. It wasn't until Brennus snorted all the dust off and mistakenly placed the petrograph on the phonograph did we realize what we found.

Dude! How about a cliff hanger alert or something!!!

So, what'd y'all find? My guess an original "singles" record of "Poison Ivy" and "Fortune Teller" (B side) by The Rolling Stones?

Brennus hasn't finished snorting yet. There's definitely some sediment deeply ingrained in the grooves. I've offered him my jewelers tools, but he aggressively dismissed them on the condition of the sensitivity of the article. I'm afraid he might be unconscious in a dark room due to hyperventilation.

Well, we finally know what's been slowing down the mod: Brennus's drug problem.

He's high on life, OK? Life in antiquity.

Nor is it a "problem". We all have a wonderful time poking him with sticks. In his defense, we've been over working him and his Celtic transvestites too hard.

Seriously though, @Brennus is a vital member and we definitely wouldn't be as far as we are without him. In fact, everyone has been top notch these past couple months and we're really zooming along.

If anything is "slowing down the mod", it has been a high standard of quality (I believe it was Moros who recently pointed out how amazingly stable the current alpha is for being an alpha. You can literally play 100+ turns without crashes in most cases.). ...And maybe because some of our members are working hard to sneak a few neat things in before we go public as well.

Drugs, lap dancers, cross dressing, dubstep...

Sad, very sad. I thought Brennus had a bright future ahead of him in academia, but now I see him hawking research articles of dubious provenance on the black market.

On a more serious note, I think the man deserves a medal, well, you all do.

(Anyone want to buy a research paper on Iberian cross dressers?)

Ok, Nevermind. I lost a good friend to Archeology in the ruins of Butrint. Ol' Ed is probably still digging, smoking pottery artifacts to sustain his high.

No, My friend! Is and has are completely separate conjugations! I don't know whether they are groupies following his personality cult or worse... What I do know, is that bleach isn't working on these lesions!

Don't mention the axe throwing, we, errh, "lost" several 3D modelers who "volunteered" as axe collectors...

Campaign AIs, eh? Swop you three AIs for photos of male Spanish academics dressed as Boudicca at a weekend conference on Iron Age archaeology. Those and a very, very interesting monograph entitled "Camels and Sexual Mores of Late Republican Legionaries: The Evidence". Comes with pictures.

I'm pleased to hear that we give you "urge feelings"!
    ----------

Just to clarify; even though I state that work on the mod is going at an excellent pace (for how many people we have active), we are still in dire need of those with skill/talent, time, and motivation. So if any of you happen to have those 4, please consider donating them to the mod!

Gotta lovely paper called "Bearded Ladies or Bad Razors? Gender Confusion, Decadence and Quality Control in the Late Roman Empire". Full of pics and diagrams! Right down your street...

Wanna see those AIs first, though.

You can't just throw that out there and then not post illustrative images.
