1. This is problem with Casse and Sweboz currently as well. Don't see how the Sweboz could be in but Chattii can't for something the Sweboz shouldn't be in for either.
2. Your point? The faction slot has to be filled, wether its an Germanic faction or not.
3. Yes it would, any faction in or close to Germania would balance out the Sweboz.

Yes, personally I think an Belgae faction is already in. But still hoping for an Germanic faction, or well a non Belgae one.

Chatti is also personal favourite of mine, being so warfare focussed, and also spawning the Batavians, Romes best Auxilaries.

1- if they have the information and resources, I don't see why not include the Chatti. but its still up to EB. and they may well have other-valid-reasons not to include it.
2-well, if they can't find the people to research and deal with a particular faction, how on earth do you expect them to implement it? unless you want to volunteer to do the Chatti/other tribe of choice, of course.*
3-the Boii do a good enough Job; they are close to Germania, and we now know they're in. what more could you want?

look, I'm not trying to ruin your hopes for a second germanic faction, or a belgae tribe (hell, I like the latter in particular being in, and in fact suspect its already in, as you do), but hey, there are considerations aside from what the average player sees in front of him.

*such considerations also mean (for a non-EB example) that the mod I'm working on, won't have an Italian faction: no research, or time to do so=no Italian faction. which really isn't all that bad, since the Italians weren't seriously involved in the SYW anyways.

EDIT: in case anyone failed to see the point: I'm not saying there ain't going to be a germanic faction acting as a proxy to the Sweboz; I'm just saying that the existence of such is, simply put, up to EB.

1. Yes its up to them.
2. If they can add the Sweboz and local units and buildings in Germania, then they already done their research.
3. Boii are in center, what would motivate them to conquer Germania? I think the faction would rather go east to other rebel areas.

Belgae are probably already in, I'm still hoping for an Germanic faction though.

Yeah . . . it is . . . But in my EB games I get defy history and Carthage to dominance! But wait, Numidia is also my brain child, both can't win at once, curses!
