I was playing around trying to learn modding and forgot to take a backyp *

I reinstall the game, and it crach al the time, then after seaching the net I downloaded DevX 9,0 and
put it into the right map, restarded my computer and the game works fine.

Today when I shood play, the download started (for the pacht) and wat happend CTF.
This is what the log say's:

    Felet uppstod i programmet Empire.exe, version 1.3.0.0, tidsstämpel 0x4a369730, felet uppstod i modulen Empire.exe, version 1.3.0.0, tidsstämpel 0x4a369730, undantagskod 0xc0000005, felförskjutning 0x00460103, process-ID 0xbac, programmets starttid 0x01c9f35fe9f78552.
This is Swedish and it says,
    Error in program Empire.exe

make sure you remove this folder after you uninstall and before you reinstall
    C:\Documents and Settings\YOURNAMEHERE\Application Data\The Creative Assembly\Empire folder

it doesn't get uninstalled for some reason, and others doing modding have had similar problem from corruption there.

I am runing Vista so I supose it must be:

Yes, I needed to do that as well. Now all is good. The land battles are MUCH smoother.

You must always be on the lookout for savegame/config folders after you uninstall a program. Often a simple search for the game name will reveal it.

If the above method does not work, you may need to delve into the potentially fatal realm of the registry.

That is, to isolate the problem.
