    Default New Units discussion

This thread is going to focus on new unit gameplay. Please DO NOT post gripes on how this cost you 1.99.

Anyway, so which units have you guys test our so far? I was curious about the American 3/4-size hybrid units. I played around with the Legion of USA; I like the versatility of the unit in small-sized actions but in a full stack set battle, its hard to take advantage of that as much. I guess it can be a great policing unit for fighting natives in the US campaign. US Marines I'm not sure what to do with.

Okay so there are 14 Free replacement units and 14 DLC units.

I have seen all of the DLC units detailed but not all of the Free units.

It might help if someone put up a comprehensive list and details of them all.

As to the Legion of the United States, that was an interesting unit for the time. I have not gotten the DLC units yet. I can hardly believe they managed to put together a combined arms unit in the game.

The legion had four brigades. Each of the four had two line infantry Battalions, one Rifle Battalion, a troop of Dragoons, and a Company of Artillery. Don’t ask me what a company of artillery is. At least a couple of batteries I am guessing.

How is the unit composed in the game at this point?

The Legion of United States in game is basically 3/4-size bayonet-equipped line infantry unit (120 man on huge) that has the light infantry behavior ability. Their range is still 70.
