    Default Everybody's a Client Ruler

I just had a wierd bug. Over one turn, and completely random as far as I see, every general on every saved campeign suddenly became a client ruler and aquired the trait "Slain be Sabeans". It go's without saying that it is unplayable with this bug. Does anyone know whats going on?

BTW Sorry for making this same thread over at TWC...

Yes. You tampered with the laws of save game compatibility: it always bodes ill for save games.

EB 1.2 is not backwards compatible with EB 1.1 because of a number of changes to the trait system, in particular w.r.t. the Client Ruler feature. As a consequence 1.1. save games don't work on 1.2; and 1.2 is best played on a cleanly re-generated map.rwm file. If you don't use the Trivial Script (the Trivial Script comes with a clean map.rwm); you must delete the map.rwm file which is IIRC located in ..\EB\data\world\maps_base the game will spawn a new (updated) one.

But I deleted all of my EB 1.1 files and started again with 1.2 . I didnt reinstall the trivial script, but I'm sure that isnt necessary. It all worked for a good 25 turns untill this. Though I admit, I was fiddling around with things (I used the "process_cq thing to see what I would be able to build under certain goverment types, including 4, which I deleted of course after) but I cant figure out why it would do it for all 3 campeigns I had saved.
