Yet, you address this by saying I was re-infected because I accused you of being re-infected. Basically in your desperation, you are taking the reverse of my own argument.

You changed your pattern, presumingly, because by being re-infected, you got the ability to re-infect again thus you can't risk playing carefree as you were doing earlier with your pattern as you got a real chance of losing.

There are no new infections, Beskar. The reason is because either the infected cells were inactive (I was not) or they attempted to infect someone who was already infected.

You're attempting to use semantics to weasel out of this. Not a good idea with me.

You changed your pattern, presumingly, because by being re-infected, you got the ability to re-infect again
    ?

Are you making this stuff up as you go along? That's not in the rules.

Thus you can't risk playing carefree as you were doing earlier with your pattern as you got a real chance of losing.
I'll be lynched this round anyway, and your theory will be disproved. You're too busy accusing me to listen to what I have to say.

You very obviously telegraphed to your partner what was going on, it's in the thread.

But no matter. Since you won't take the debate seriously and your arguments are swiss cheese and you won't listen I'll direct my attention to more productive things.

So ATPG, you vote for me and then don't even reply to me? Instead you go full on against Beskar, say he's guilty and don't vote for him.

If I didn't know better, I'd say you were acting scummy, but this actually fits your style. If you truly believe I've got to go, I don't think I can't change your mind, but my feeling is, as usual you're looking for a reaction. Beskar did react in fact, but he's aggressive by nature in these games and both cases laid out prove little. (Well, it proves you're inconsistent, but that's not exactly new. ) So what now? Still expecting something from me, some sort of clumsy reaction to protect a supposed mafia partner? Sorry to disappoint, I don't know anything except what I read here, apparently that's also your case.

Btw, I'm reading all your posts, I'm trying to keep an open mind, but I simply don't find anything compelling, especially since you say one thing and do another, like voting for me.

    @TheFlax

I had a theory about Beskar, and I am probably wrong. I've all but given up. I don't care.

I've already acted scummy, albeit on purpose and for the reason of confusion, so I don't have a lot of credibility. You can vote for who you want.

I've dropped my case on Beskar because he explained himself to my satisfaction and I have zero credibility to start another one.

We really need to pick one. I admit my efforts so far have been clumsy, but an apathetic bunch of healthy cells is even worse. I could accept the idea that everyone voted for me after some less than brilliant play, but even that hasn't happened.

Sorry, Taka but you need to contribute more to the thread.

    Vote: Taka

I may decide to change my vote for self-preservation purposes later on. Woo big surprise. However I really have nothing to defend myself with except the vote.

You ever read the description of "Pulling a Spartan?"
Claiming to be a mafioso in a misguided attempt to confuse the mafia which actually ends up confusing the villagers instead.
All you done is just make me confused, and all I know is, that I had a very strong feeling you was a mafia and now its just "blehwooowwwzeerrr rur ror raggy"

Yes, in fact I mentioned to you in an instant message that I had pulled a Spartan.

The tactic doesn't work when the mafia know each other, as is the case in most games. I mentioned that as well.

In this case one of the mafia are unaware of who their partner is, so the tactic has some merit. I needed to save my skin last round, and the best I could do was something that looked very scummy. Something, might I add, I've done in other games as a townie to save my own butt. Which is to vote for someone else at the last minute. I just did this in your Lift Escape game.

Now, since there was little chance I could convince anyone that was an innocent maneuver (even though logically it doesn't indicate anything one way or another, other than the fact you want to live) I also remembered the mafia don't know who their partners were, and in an attempt to confuse them, I deliberately pulled a Spartan.

You managed to talk yourself out of being totally scummy to me, by explaining why you told everyone I was joking and that it meant something else. So, I am now attempting to pick up the pieces of a failed strategy and move on.

At least I am doing that instead of lurking and not voting.

Let me put it like this:

Imagine you just killed a townie with your vote. Imagine also, you've confused the other townies. Now, the trifecta would be not participating anymore in a positive manner at all.

I didn't want to be a complete and utter waste this game, so I'm attempting to brush off my failures and move on rather than continue to be a liability. It's kind of hard to rally the troops after two big failures, but I'm trying.

So since I caused this mess to begin with, allow me to do some un-confusing.

    Taka

    Last Activity: Today 11:31

Look, all I am saying is that Taka isn't voting or contributing to the discussion. This smacks of laying low to avoid the lynch, or voting at the last moment.

    AVSM

    Active: right now.

    No vote, no discussion.

    And finally:

    Cultured Drizzt Fan

    Active this phase.

    Voted abstain.

    Abstain?

By a very slim majority do the uninfected cells outvote the infected ones. Our only chance at stopping them is by voting. Abstaining looks like you're not going to vote or you're saving your vote for until it becomes too late. Too late for us to stop you, or too late for us to bandwagon onto your candidate. In either case, it's not the greatest move.

I sense that those infected cells are just waiting on the sidelines to bandwagon me at the last minute, or whoever else has a vote on them. But they can't do that if town takes decisive action and votes for a candidate. Pick someone.

You want me to pick? I pick Taka. He should have responded by now. I already called him out for lurking, and he said nothing. Otherwise, you pick and I'll follow.

That's all from me. I've talked enough for one minigame.

I really haven't been paying as close attention as I should to this game, and when I vote abstain it was really late..... cut me some slack. (plus I am not sure I can trust you..... especially after how well you are playing the town in hitman gambit)

Yeah yeah yeah, keep mafia games separate.

I don't want to debate with you about another game on this thread. Keep it in its own thread.

Look, you don't HAVE to trust me. Pick a candidate, any candidate; state your reasons. Vote. You don't need to follow my lead, but you do have to do something. Otherwise we just surrender to the infection.

Cool store, bro! I want some ham.
    No ham, pepsi.
They make deli slices of frozen pepsi now? Awesome!
You also need to purchase a small freezer for storage of your pepsi.
It runs on batteries. You'll need a few.
Uhh, I guess I won't have pepsi then. Do you have change for a twenty?

My reason not to leap on Cultured Drizzt Fan for going for the obvious lurker is because he didn't seem to do so immediately. I think he was actually considering his options, which is a subtle hint he may be healthy.

Taka is my preferred candidate anyway.

Besides, AVSM said pretty pwease. No self-respecting mafioso would win a game that way.
