I think people will get along better through the internet. You can learn a lot browsing forums and reading up on some stuff that takes your interests... so long as the internet increases our knowledge then things like racism will be on the decline.

As for the heated debates along national lines (without going into ethnic nationalism), I think we will be a bit stubborn with that for a while to come, although giving the opposition a chance to say where they are coming from will surely at least help generate some understanding.
