    Default CTD while loading battles

In my last game as Rome I had a CTD while loading a battle every time I tried to fight a particular Ptolemaic FM. No problems fighting any other Ptolemaic or other faction FMs / generals. I decided to avoid the problem by not attacking him, and after about 6 turns I was able to attack him no problems.

Currently playing as Saba, and I'm having the same problem with an Eleutheroi army (no FM). Each time I attack the Eleutheroi army, the game crashes, although I don't seem to have a problem with attacking any other armies.

Anybody know a fix? Since its relatively early in my Saba campaign I don't have the flexibility to ignore the Eleutheroi army for 6 turns - my army is needed elsewhere!

Couldn't find another thread with this problem, but someone else my know one.

If it consistently crashes, teleport the army away and disband units according to what you'd expect to lose in the battle. Also, you can autoresolve it, which may be a fairer solution.

You know what - I never even thought of autoresolve. I never use it in game, but since my current problem with Saba concerns two relatively small armies, it sounds like the perfect solution to get the game moving again.

    Cheers boss!
