I was looking over the units Carthage could recruit and I found this. They can recruit Spartans?

I know who Xanthippos is. He has spawned for me once. But thats not what I was asking, I was asking if they can be recruited by Carthage.

No, they cannot.

This entry is just to allow Xanthippos to have a Spartan bodyguard. However, the Carthaginians have no recruitment lines for Spartans in the EDB, so they cannot recruit them. This also means that if they bribe an army containing Spartan hoplites, the Spartans will join them rather than disbanding.
