when should you get the adition of the legions its told me a message about reforms but never anything happened and also how does theEB script impact the game

The Polybian Reforms happen due to a change in equiptment and tactics that were adopted or adapted due to wars with Carthage and Celts.

The Marian Reforms mark a shift between citizen soldiers and professional soldiers from any class who are supplied their equiptment by the state. These reforms will occur when you have a large empire with a lack of landed citizens to fill the growing need for soldiers. If at this point there is a man willing to make the changes to the military system, the reforms will take place.

Augustan
If a man with the drive arises in the Republic, willing to overthrow the Senate, give him the chance and these reforms will take place. (These reforms are not inevitable and are based on whether such a character arrises.)

(If these conditions are met, the general will receive a trait telling he wants to seize power. Make him the Faction Heir and as soon as he becomes the leader the reforms will happen.)

2. The EB script activates all scripted events (reforms, 'This Year in History', etc.). technically, I do not belive it is required to play, but it is very, very highly recommended.

The information is on the FAQ, which was designed as a reference for this kind of questions. Bovi's suggestion was hardly unhelpful.

He get these kind of questions all the time, if people would just use the search function, read the FAQ or the frequent issues thread then 90% of their questions would be answered there.

I'm going to pile on here because you've just slandered THE SINGLE MOST HELPFUL member of the team. Addressing simple questions briefly allows him to deal with more (and more complicated) problems.

when i click on faqs i can not find the part where it says gameplay. I have the same problem but with sweboz. I downloaded the 1.2 permanent fixes, and now i am in year 194 and still in time of the tribe. still no germanic heavy infantry. I really did try to find help on FAQs before i posted. any ideas?

You just go to this thread and scroll down to the part where it says "IV. Gameplay", and then scroll down to the bunch of spoilers and look for the Sweboz (Druhtitīdiz). You open the spoiler and then read the requierements...

K Raso, thanks for the help. I tried the search function, and it just said no results. I never found those FAQs, but you solved my problem. BTW everyone has always been very helpful when i ask a question, or if someone else does. Thanks everybody for you help and work on all of the projects.
