Statistics of the gameroom

I decided to spend the whole morning to collect statistics.

Here it is, if you are interested

57 Successful Large games hosted
-25 mafia victories
-22 townie victories
-10 ties or games won by third parties

102 Successful Small games hosted
-46 mafia victories
-44 townie victories
-12 ties or games won by third parties

Most number of Large Games hosted: GeneralHankerchief (11 games)
Most number of Small Games hosted: Caius (13 games), Andres (12 games), Askthepizzaguy (10 games)
Most number of games hosted: Andres (16 games), Caius (15 games), GeneralHankerchief (14 games), Sasaki Kojiro, Askthepizzaguy (12 games)

Number of being mafia (Large game only. Not counting Capo & The Castle)
Sasaki Kojiro: 7 times (four wins)
Khaan: 7 times (Five wins)
GeneralHankerchief: Six times (Three wins)
Beefy: Three times (Zero wins)

I have more data stored, and I'll get more if I can be bothered.
What other stats do you think would be interesting?

Hrmm... I know I've been mafia just about as many times as I've been town, but I'm not sure about large games. I'll count those up.

If you really want to get detailed, you might try doing a mafia:town ratio for individual players. It would take a lot of work, though...

And I won't have to much time after next week

I'm thinking of completing the mafia list by adding the small games.

I'd be interested to see stats on the sucess of certain tactics, such as counter claims, WIFOM ect... would probably be a massive amount of work though.

I had been keeping track of that kind of data and far more... which is basically what SkyNet was. A tally to date of all kinds of behavior and also which tactics were done by mafia. However, I have since memorized the key behaviors and I no longer keep track.

That requires diving in each game, and look for mafias bragging their might. aka Reading.

Nice, I've been meaning to do something like that for a while now. I'm a junkie for this kind of stuff.

(This is, of course, only assuming you're willing, and have the time and desire to do such things. I know these kinds of statistics can take forever to do, and we shouldn't be at all imposing on you. )

It might be cool to have a sort of average posts per game by each player statistic. It provides another opportunity for competition (which ATPG would undoubtedly win ) and could also provide a sort of basis for normal townie behavior.

You could even get volunteers to do their own statistics, and take off from the workload, if you're really going to do that. As long as we follow a set system, I'd be happy to get my own post average for ya.
