i do have one big noobish question thats been triffling with my mind for over an year
how do we get large unit size ? i only seem to get the regular 60-120 one´s wich is a tad frustating for role playing purposes and most importantly population control![]()

H/M for me, best setting for roleplaying.
VH/VH only if you just want to play EB as if it is a video game.
Is there anyone played HAYASDAN in VH/VH, huge unit size? I remember my first campaign back in 0.81a, playing as Hayasdan. I hardly captured and controlled 3 settlements, surving several years as a small kingdom. Then the AS came. They sent full stack after full stack, it's just like there is no end! Then I did the most glorious thing, QUIT. And the worst thing is medium cavalry beats my Hayasdan body guards.![]()

Thanks again for all the replies, I've gone with H/M for my campaign. We'll see how it goes.
H/M is challenging. I personally like M/M as it hasn't the AI go after you all the time.

Really? I've played a few campaigns with Casse, with both rtw.exe and alx.exe on VH/H, and in my current one, VH/M, and haven't found the eleutheroi to be too much of a problem, as long as you keep an eye out for the rogue half-stacks.Originally Posted by tls5669
I think i'd agree with Maion on the VH battle front; I can't see it being realistic (unless you're freaking insane at battles), and trying VH/VH, It tends to get boring as the inevitable beginning eleutheroi settlements you have to take over become crazy hard and wear down your few wavering troops which you can hardly afford. For barbarian factions it makes the game incredibly boring for the first few years.
