    Default Fable 2?

What do you all think. I played it its pretty good. i dont think there as much freedom as a normal rpg (well perhaps socially with you wife and children and all that). Just wanted to see what other people thought. i would give it an 8.5 out of 10 myself.

Fable II is a game on a fine balance IMO. The main storyline is enjoyable, a mix between well told cliches and more unexpected material. It was fun for a while and then swiftly grew dull. I liked a lot of the things it did, and disliked about an equal number. Fortunately it ended shortly after the magic began to fade, and the things I liked tended to be more important than the things I didn't. I did try the first DLC; I shouldn't have because it only ground home the fact that I had played enough.

The game does hold some unique memories. Fable II remains the only game where my female character looked more manly and butch than a male one. I'm not joking - my maxed out female character drank the sex changing potion and ended up looking more athletic and svelt. It's the only game where I accidentally blasted my baby with a fireball while trying to scare off the perverted town crier who stalked me every time I was in the city, and who was trying to watch me get romantic with my husband. It's the only game where I walked through a forest in the rain with my dog. It's definitely the only game where I ended up owning the entire game world and renting it back out to the peons!

Well worth picking up for the low price you can find it at now, provided you can accept that it's quite a short game unless you do absolutely everything and you probably won't want to.

Yes i did have quite a few chuckles. one of the most memorable moments was.....

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
I decided to let lucien finish his speech and about halfway through Reaver shoots him in the head and says "oh my apologies, did you want to kill him?"

Lol, but it was just too short and after owning every building (which is wayyy to easy) i was basically done with it. Oh i may pick it up again and pick a character and do my own "class" sysyem but it wont be like oblivion where i could use the same character forever almost.

EDIT: Please use spoiler tags when describing the ending of a game!

*embarrassed* my apologies i hope i didn't ruin that for anyone

There is the downloaded content, however, one thing I used to love, is how my friend constantly complained that he couldn't probably role-play as he felt the game was "forcing him to play a butch lesbian" because of how the stat system worked.

The org does not approve of people misusing terms like gay and lesbian - it's offensive. Everyone reading this post should consider this to be the friendly reminder.

No, his character was a lesbian. She married and had fun with females. His complaint was because the game later on gets harder as he has to put skill points in strength and accuracy which makes them built like body builders and taller than the Green Giant. That is what the word "butch" basically means.

My character for example was a effeminate male. Doesn't make him homosexual, he was quite the ladies man.

My apologises, I thought you was meaning my comment as well.

However, my character looks cool, long blonde hair, he has no shirt on, open highwayman's coat, dyed white, (pants and boots are white as well) and the unfortunate will lines. Just needs a flower between his teeth to top it off.

I think the game is pretty fun of medium length IMO. The Knothole island DLC was alright, but the one that came after it, Vision of the Future, I felt was a complete rip off. At leat Knothole island took me a day or two to finish it, but Vision of the Future didn't even last me 12 hours.

Sorry that was rude of me. In more polite and accurate words i mean to say that a woman wielding a massive steel hammer, would more likely be highly muscled than tall and lithe. The same goes for a man, so while i might not like what the effects do to my character, it is rather accurate. Sincerest apologies
