Where are ETW saves stored?

I have a slightly retarded install of ETW, see this thread:

Where although it is a store purchased disk, it install messed up and steam installed what would have been on disk two.

So i am having trouble finding where the save games are stored, so i can continue the campaign i was playing before Vista strangled itself.

I have already sliced a cleaver through my GTA4 disk this week, and i am hoping not to have to do the same with ETW, so your assistance is appreciated.

Depends on the OS.
C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\The Creative Assembly\Empire\save_games

Or pretty much the same, but appdata for Vista.

Shoudnt be too hard to find, if you still cant, a search should do it. Save files are exactley what they are (save as prussia in 1708, save file is prussia summer 1708.empire_save)

The directory they are is set to be Hidden, so you might want to turn on the "show hidden files"in your folder options.
