Go to the Lordz and download 2 RAR files (LMCmapmod and LMCmapmod_loc) to a folder on your desk top.

Extract the pack files from both, and copy the two pack files to your games data file.
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\empire total war\data
With the Lordz maps installed you won’t be able to play the vanilla maps, but the trade off is as follows.
Vanilla:
11 - 1v1s
2 - 2v2s
1 -4v4
Lordz:
2 – 2v2s
11 - 3v3s
2 -4v4s
If you want to play vanilla maps again, you will have to take out the two Lordz pack files and you will be back there again.
The Lordz maps are beautiful works of our community craftsmen (I like them best at midday setting). And this is just the beginning!
Depending on which of the map packs (vanilla or Lordz) you are using, games with maps from the other camp will appear in red, and be inaccessible. Other players with whichever map pack you currently have, will see your game in white letters, and their games will appear in white also.
This split map group thing is the major problem inhibiting the use of the Lordz maps. But if you would consider the quality of play that you will most likely get from players advanced enough to have a custom map pack, you might be better of to look for those games in the first place.
Once you see these maps, there will be no question as to which you would rather play on
