Question All my Client Rulers become Interloper

    Hi all,

I've been searching the totalwar.org on this, but I couldn't find an answer

My problem is, that every client ruler I recruit in my Type IV Governments becomes an Interloper and decreases public order. I play Carthage and it happened in Italy, in Africa, in Spain...everywhere I've been so far. Of course I have no FM in the same settlement, not even in the same province and I don't move the new General out of the settlement in the first season after recruitment.

I play the RTW Gold Edition with EB 1.1 with the 1.2 Patch and the 1.2 Fixes installed.

So I would really appreciate if anybody could help me on this small, but annoying problem.

Recruited Client Rulers can only rule over Type IV allied settlements, IIRC, they can rule over other cultures, it just needs to be a Type IV govt. I believe you problem is that you recruit client rulers to rule over your provinces, type II and III settlements, this will trigger, the interloper trait. Also, check that there aren't other government types being used,or it simply could be bugged

No, it's definitely a bug. Recruited generals in non-type IV governments get "Impostor" as a trait, not "Interloper", in 1.2.

Cool store, bro! I want some ham.
    No ham, pepsi.
They make deli slices of frozen pepsi now? Awesome!
You also need to purchase a small freezer for storage of your pepsi.
It runs on batteries. You'll need a few.
Uhh, I guess I won't have pepsi then. Do you have change for a twenty?

Unless suddenly people start to be “Slain by Sabeans” a lot, of course. This looks a lot like you (the OP) either (a) forgot that you cannot (in the sense that it will be broken and possibly crippled) continue an 1.1 savegame on a 1.2 build; or (b) decided to alter the export_descr_character_traits.txt file (for instance install a minimod that does this).

No, it's neither a 1.1 savegame, nor did I change something "inside" the game, as to say...as I am not talented concerning this, I rather don't even try

So in case of a bug, should I install everything new with a clean version? Could I use my "bugged" savegame then? I would really regret if not, I invested a lot of time becoming what I am there...some kind of ruler of the western mediterrenean
