Idea for a game

[Prussian to the Iron]

I thought of this this morning, as I was brushing my teeth. Basically, it would be just like Oblivion, only set in the Classical age of Ancient Greece. And then it would have expansions with regions like Egypt, Persia, and Italy. With different armor and weapons pertaining to those areas.

I'm thinking of submitting it to some Gamestop contest, but I'm unsure how. If anyone can offer help it'd be much appreciated.

I tried going all out with a game idea (shakas zulu to british boers). I actually got some interest shown. Basically the most important part is to have a good pitch man and stellar visuals. Otherwise go for it and if they dont like your idea you can always develop it on your own. I can't even say how many great games started out in peoples basements
